Hi Urian! Peter was having trouble leaving comments (I think it's something in his browser since it happened with both blogs he tried), so I'm pasting both of his comments for you here:
Introduction: Hey Urian! I'm Peter, and it's pretty interesting to read you have a brother named Peter! Now if only I had a brother named Urian... Anyways, I find it awesome that you got to live in three completely different parts of the country, but hopefully Oklahoma is the one you call home! I actually have a few friends that are from Nowata, so it's not too far off the beaten path for some. But I wish you the best of luck in your Accounting degree, and I hope you didn't work away your entire summer! Have a good one, man! --Peter
Storytelling: Hi Urian, Your story was very intriguing and was a great spin off of the old tale. I'm a big fan of Aesop and his fables, and I must say you did an excellent job with your version. I especially enjoyed the nod to Finding Nemo, one of my favorite movies! And I'm also glad you found inspiration from your own childhood fish. I can definitely that you enjoy your fishies! Great job writing! --Peter
Urian, Your story is so cute and playful I love it! The character of the beautiful betta and the dorky tetra will be fun characters to play with and I really think that you can expand and give them lots of personalities and almost make their story a sort of Tom and Jerry but in fish form! I think that your background goes perfectly with the story and what you are writing your portfolio about. One constructive comment that I have would to expand on your introduction a bit more. Give a little bit more information as to what exactly your portfolio will be about. Right now it only seems like you are introducing that one story instead of the whole portfolio, so perhaps just more explanation would do you well. Other than that I really enjoyed your story and I can’t wait to see where you take this portfolio! Good
Hi Urian! I really like your new blog design. The 'water look' is very calming. Also, I think that the color blue is said to stimulate creativity, so thanks for that creative boost! I also like that your stories are all about fish. It's quite cool! Like what Taylor said, it's quite easy to play with the personality of the fish and give them more depth! Like, you could use a scary looking fish and make it seem really sweet! I look forward to reading your portfolio once it is done.
